Finding the Right Medical Spa

Medical Spa

Medical Spa

A medical spa is a cross between a medical clinic and a day spa that is owned and/or operated by a medical doctor. While day spas emphasize pampering and relaxation, medical spas emphasize results.

At our medical spa, we can treat skin problems like age spots or redness far more effectively than day spas can. In addition to relaxing treatments like facials, we also offer such services as BOTOX® injections, dermal fillers and various laser treatments. Such services can only be provided by qualified medical professionals.

Medical spas, by definition, are run by a doctor. Unfortunately, not all states require the doctor to actually be involved, so some doctors that own spas treat them as a sideline while they concentrate on their practice. The med spa associated with Athena Plastic Surgery has Dr. Avron Lipschitz as its guide, only offering the latest and greatest procedures and techniques. Our medical spa is overseen by our renowned plastic surgeon that is actually available to his clients and staff.

At our medical spa, we have experienced staff members who have performed the desired procedures countless times. Some of our staff members have even tried some of our med spa treatments themselves, which further emphasizes the safety and trustworthy nature of the services we provide.

Our medical spa is as squeaky clean as a medical clinic. We sterilize our equipment after each use. Our staff is ready and willing to discuss the results of previous procedures. They are always willing to show before and after photographs of clients who underwent the same procedure. Similarly, they are able to give the client a rough estimate for how many sessions a given procedure will take to produce the desired results. Laser treatments, for example, often require multiple sessions, while other procedures may require only one or two.

Some of the treatments offered at the Athena Plastic Surgery med spa include the HydraFacial®, BOTOX®, dermal fillers, Ultherapy® and chemical peels. However, this only scratches the surface. During a consultation with our specialist, you can learn more about all of our medical spa services. For your convenience, we have locations in Stuart and Palm Beach Gardens, and we happily serve clients in the West Palm Beach and surrounding areas.
