What Is Voluma?
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® is an FDA-approved dermal filler used to address facial contours. This injectable treatment may be used to reduce volume loss and accent facial features. When administered, it may be used to lift and contour cheeks.
VOLUMA contains synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is naturally produced by your body to provide your skin with structure and support, but production naturally slows over time. This may lead to volume loss, but injections of synethic HA provide targeted increases in volume.
What Could I Expect from the Treatment Process?
The VOLUMA treatment process is relatively simple. Injections are administered during outpatient procedures in the comfort of our Stuart office. There is minimal discomfort associated with the process, but you may experience some pinching at the injection site.
Following the injectable treatments, you should be able to return to your normal daily activities. While treatment sessions are often short, how long a session is ultimately depends on the severity of the concerns addressed. You may also experience some minor bruising and swelling shortly after treatment.
