You must also understand and follow the doctor’s instructions and be willing to follow them to the letter.
Eyelid Surgery
Skin and fat may be removed during an eyelid lift. This may be done on the top and bottom of your eyelids. The areas of change will be determined by you and Dr. Avron during your consultation. Having excess skin removed from your upper eyelid can sometimes improve your vision if the sagging is impeding your sight. Having puffiness removed from your lower eyelid only takes a tiny incision for each eye that is almost invisible after the surgery.
Eyelid surgery usually takes about three hours or less. After the surgery you will be provided with pain medication and a bandage will cover your incisions.
